Italian-born independent art photographer Anna Bondavalli Ward currently lives and works between Beirut and France.
Her work captures the interplay of light, shadow, and emotion through black-and-white and long-exposure techniques. With an eclectic and multicultural approach, she explores themes ranging from conceptual photography to architecture, from portraits to street and travel photography, always with a deeply personal perspective.
Projects include ROMÆ | Inner Shades (2019), Intangible (2023, Women by Women, Beirut), and One of a Kind (2024, Ritz-Carlton DIFC, Dubai). In 2024, her series Thailand, Intimate Frames won first prize from Thailand’s Ministry of Tourism. Her work has been exhibited in Lebanon, the UAE, Italy, and France.
Anna started collaborating with Artists of Beirut in 2025 and her work has been notably showcased in Artists of Beirut collective exhibition in June 2025 at Arthaus Beirut, Lebanon and in Menart Fair Paris in October 2025
