Born in Stuttgart and holder of a master’s degree in clinicalpsychology, Joana Mocachen studied Performing Arts at Saint Joseph University in Beirut, and performed for several years in comedy shows alongside Lebanese comedian Samy Khayat. While acting was an early passion, painting has always been her medium of self-expression.
Joana creates abstract, surreal portraits, using vibrant colors to explore a wide emotional spectrum and evoke personal interpretation. Her work consistently carries an underlying message of hope, inviting viewers into a world shaped by imagination and introspection.
