Patricia Vivian is a British Lebanese Canadian artist born in 1969 in Beirut and raised in Montreal.
She holds a doctorate in clinical psychology, specializing in psychoanalytical interpretation
of dreams. Her collages use layering of mixed media with written and drawn symbols.
Her artistic practice evolved from a perspective shaped by the privileged optimism of Lebanon’s pre-revolutionary era, producing aesthetically pleasing and calming compositions. Over time, her work shifted toward a more complex and introspective exploration, engaging with themes of psychoanalytic transformation. In this evolving body of work, the conscious mind reveals vibrant and lucid imagery by day, while the unconscious emerges at night, exposing the distorted and turbulent forces that lie beneath the surface. She invites viewers to contemplate the impact of both realms of our consciousness.

Since 2025, she has collaborated with Artists of Beirut, exhibiting at various art spaces venues in Beirut.
