A Lebanese-Canadian artist, Nadeen Baba, began nurturing her imagination and creative spirit from a very young age. Fascinated by form, space, and visual expression, she pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture with Honors, where she developed a strong foundation in design, structure, and composition. While architecture sharpened her technical eye, it left little room for the emotional and intuitive expression she longed for.
Guided by an inner calling, she returned to her first love, painting. Drawn to the freedom of abstract art, she discovered her authentic voice through acrylics, embracing the spontaneity and movement the medium allows. Her work is characterized by vibrant color palettes, bold gestures, fluid motion, and intricate layering, creating depth and energy on each canvas.
Each piece serves as a visual diary, reflecting her emotional state at the time of creation. Through her art, she invites viewers into her inner world, encouraging personal interpretation and allowing each individual to form their own unique connection with the work.
