Lama Mansour is a Lebanese artist born in Beirut in 1971. After a decade-long career in industrial economics, she shifted her focus to art in 2017. She studied painting with Bassam Kahwagi and earned a master’s degree in Art Criticism and Curatorship from Saint Joseph University.
Deeply drawn to the expressive nature of figurative art, particularly the human face and body, her work explores emotional depth through fragmented forms. Rather than pursuing conventional beauty, she reveals vulnerability and complexity. Influenced by Egon Schiele and Francis Bacon, her art reflects a raw, visceral search for truth and emotion, highlighting the human condition through distortion and sensitivity.
Since 2022, she has collaborated with Artists of Beirut, showcasing her work in numerous exhibitions held in various art spaces venues in Beirut and internationally at the Menart fair Paris 2025.
